TTC
Hey guys,

There is a very serious matter that must be dealt with here in Toronto: the TTC.
Now, I’m not as frequent a user of the TTC as most who reside from here do, but as you might or might not already know, they are jacking up the price of fares to $2.75, a whole $0.25 more, due to the fact that they’re obviously having financial issues. It’s a piss off. Fine.

But let me address something that had been brought to my attention by Christine, which I strongly agree with. So much that I have to address this to everyone out there because my next step is to email either the TTC (if I’m feeling generous to address what they can do to improve) or a newspaper (if I’m feening for some agreement among the peoples of Toronto).

Anyway, the topic of this whole issue is advertising.
Now, I don’t know the figures but why does it seem that the TTC wastes so much money on needless advertising of THEMSELVES. Not only that, but why is it that I’ve never seen an ad for the TTC outside of its boundaries? In other words, the TTC advertises within itself and ONLY itself. (save this note for later) On that note, try and give me a reason why the TTC should even advertise itself AT ALL. Are they not a monopoly? They have no competitors! What other means of public transportation is there in Toronto? I just don’t get it…

Needless advertising, people! When you’re on the subway or the bus, you see these ads telling you to “Ride The Rocket”. Well, shit son! I’m already ON IT!
Do they NEED to keep wasting their money, insisting you ride something that, you’re not only riding but also, has no other competitors? Let’s think here people... when you advertise something, what do you hope to achieve? You want that person to buy your product and get them thinking that they need it when they actually don’t. But the TTC in this case, fails to realize that people NEED this product and they’re the only ones out there who can provide it!

Okay okay, let’s take a step back. Say their intentions are to draw people from the suburbs to come into Toronto to use their subway, streetcars and buses. They wanna attract MORE people. This is good! But going back to my first point, where are the ads outside of the stations, buses, streetcars and subways? Wouldn’t you want to advertise around the 401 or QEW; people driving cars! You’re not going get people who are already intent on using the subway, why try and bait fish that have already bitten?

Finally, I’d like to conclude with some samples of the quality advertisements that they’ve been shelling money out for, because I can’t help but imagine what a lost cause they’ve become, not mention how useful those "special constables" are. LoL I just feel I have a duty to address this to either them or the newspaper because I don’t want you, me or anyone having to pay $2.75 when we all could be paying much less than that if they just stop trying with the advertisements.

Thank You.
Josh

Tips on how to use the ESCALATOR: http://www.toronto.ca/ttc/pdf/ttc_escalator_safety_steps.pdf - Guys, can we not figure this one out? And for those that want to argue that they’re putting this poster out to avoid getting sued, don’t even start. If they get hurt riding this friggin thing out of ignorance that they don’t know how to “use” it, I’m not gonna buy it. The escalator doesn’t ask/force you to ride it, that’s what the stairs are for. Maybe they should make a poster for Tips on how to use the STAIRS.

The infamous TTC Special Constables ad: http://www.toronto.ca/ttc/pdf/tsc_brochure_2006.pdf - I love how there’s a section labelled: “The Powers of a TTC Special Constable”. When’s the last time you even saw one on a subway or a bus? Oh wait, I forgot, they have the power of invisibility. ;)
Double it up with the “Car Card” version: http://www.toronto.ca/ttc/pdf/tsc_carcard_2006.pdf
How about an “Interior Poster” version: http://www.toronto.ca/ttc/pdf/tsc_carcard_2006.pdf
Or maybe a “Platform Poster” version: http://www.toronto.ca/ttc/pdf/tsc_carcard_2006.pdf
I wonder if I’ll be arrested for using the “Interior” version outside o__O

This one’s a very popular one as well: http://www.toronto.ca/ttc/pdf/how_far_4x6.pdf
In fact, this one, the escalator and the special constables ads are TTC’s main advertisements on the homepage of their site: http://www.toronto.ca/ttc/

But back to the ad, where did you get that GORGEOUS model? Man, I’d put him on a Calvin Klein ad FOR SURE.
Okay fine, I’m ratting on his looks, but seriously, of all the possible pictures they could have taken for an ad, they had to choose the creepiest? And if they seriously had no one but this guy to shoot, couldn’t they have made him look a bit more normal and less scary? And not only that, but apparently the TTC is trying to appeal to us with getting to flower shops… Guys, what kind of society do we live in that causes us to buy flowers on a day-to-day basis? Why don’t they point us to restaurants or clothing stores, things that more people will appeal to??

There’s a couple new things about Coldplay that you might be interested to know about.

First, Coldplay, although not so successful in the Grammy’s (even their Grammy performance wasn’t really that great o_O), won a pair of Brit Awards for Best British Single (Speed of Sound) and Best British Album (X&Y). Yeeaa!

Second, Coldplay, in the near future, will be releasing their 4th single (likely their final) from X&Y: The Hardest Part.
Now, although I admire this song a lot and I really feel it’ll be a very catchy tune for listeners abroad, I don’t think that this should’ve been the 4th and final single. In fact, I’d pick one potential candidate that absolutely should’ve made it through to be a single:

What If
What ever happened to this song? For those that missed Coldplay’s grammy-winning style that was evident in their previous albums, THIS was flashback of those times; the “Trouble” or “The Scientist” of X&Y. I remember when I first heard this song. I was enraptured, and I know that people who bought this album love this song too. Pyza and G, I know you like this song. Dave, you and I learned it on the piano when we got back from Waterloo. Jia, you sing it all the time cuz it’s your favourite. And damnit, it’s one of mine as well.

Also, remember when Coldplay came to Toronto in August? That was a WICKED concert. Do you know how much more awesome it would be if they had played What If??? FRIG. I’ve even looked around on the message boards for setlists they do at other venues and not once have I seen “What If” included. And although I really AM excited for another visit they’ll be making at the ACC on March 22nd, a part of me hurts for the likelihood that “What If” will continue to remain dormant. BAH.

But moving back to my main point, what I REALLY would’ve valued more is if Coldplay realized the awesomeness of the lyrics and flow of this song and released it as a single so that those who don’t know Coldplay and are looking for that lush, lyrically moving melody, will be able to experience something really special, as I did with “The Scientist”.

Today was kind of a special day for me, not because it was Valentine's Day, but because I learned something new about this wonderful feeling and emotion called love.

As simple as the word is to say, love takes on an abundance of complexities. Actually, I take that back. Love is, rather, simple. It's just understanding that there are so many angles to it that it seems so complex. But in actuality, when you break it all down, love is comprised of the simplist meanings.

Actually, I didn't really give the topic of love much thought as I thought I did back before the Filipino priest addressed it and blessed Kuya and Ate's house. Of course I believed in love and knew it to be warm and fuzzy feelings and care for another, right? But I never truly thought about love the way that Filipino priest addressed it. "Love is willing to endure all kinds of suffering for the beloved." He said it numerous times actually and it took all those times to drill that into my head. Love is selfless. I ask you then, in your relationships, including friendships.. when was the last time you worked your ass off for someone and then walked away feeling good? That's love.

How about when you were asked to do a favour and did it with a smile? when you tried something you weren't the best at, to put a smile on their face? or when you took hours out of your busy day to prepare a gift you know they'll love?

Love is most powerful not when you tell someone "I love you," but it's the times where, inside of you, something clicks and you suddenly realize something new about love; another angle that you didn't really pay attention to before.

And it expands from there because ultimately, love seeks to please with only one reward in mind: love.

"Love is willing to endure all kinds of suffering for the beloved."
Believe in this, and you'll see what I mean.

So today's the day of my bro's surgery. They're going to remove the right lower lobe of his lung (about 20-50% of his right lung). The procedure is to take 2.5 hours. (Just outta curiousity, did you read that "two and a half hours" or "two point five hours"?)

Anyways, if you don't already know, my brother's been ill for awhile, since the wedding. After the wedding, Kuya and Ate went to Greece for their 2-week honeymoon and he got hives there. After he came back, he was struck by a fever that lasted too long so they took him to the hospital, got him checked out with blood tests and x-rays and soon discovered that his lung had been infected, possibly built up over the years but escalated through the stress and exertion of his body through all of the above events. They hooked up a pic line to him which traveled up his arm, around his chestm over his heart and by his lung to apply antibiotics to the region. He had this on for about 3 months, as he slowly regained his strength and health back. Today now, is the last step, which is actually removing the infected lobe, to prevent the infection from spreading. After today's surgery, he will then be taken care of at the hospital for a week and then brought home to recover for another 1-2 months.

So everything should be fine. The surgeon operating on him is apparently really good so it should be a walk-in-the-park for him. Still, I'll keep hoping for the success. And you can join me to by cheering him on and yelling out, wherever you are right now, "Go Kuya! We want prenup!" and you're not gonna say "Go Kuya Anthony!", you're gonna say "Kuya" cuz he's MY kuya AND yours. We're all brothers and sisters, so holla back... girls and boys.

Peace.

Hey guys,

Don't sound freaked out but I have a blood disorder. FRIGGIN THING.
Okay here's the deal. I was called back into the doc's office today after work regarding my blood test from a few weeks back.
Doc sez I have a blood disorder called thalassemia minor. If you read you'll find that it's actually not something that will hurt me, myself, but in the future, if I have child with someone that has the same blood disorder, there's a 25% chance that he/she will develop the more serious disease, thalassemia major.

Thalassemia is an inherited disease, usually more frequently found in those of Italian or Greek decent. It was passed on to me from my dad, and as a result, my body produced defective hemoglobin, which I believe makes my blood cells smaller than usual and thus, don't carry as much oxygen. Then when two people who are minors have a child, their genes can mix to develop the major gene. In only a few months after birth, babies with major then develop severe conditions of anemia (lack of oxygen), slower growth, pale skin, swelling, and become dependent on blood transfusions.

In the case that my wife shares the same disorder, it's a 25% chance that the worst will happen, a 50% chance that I'll pass on the torch, and a 25% of dodging the bullet. Otherwise, it's a 1:4 chance of passing on the torch.

Anyways, I don't think I'll be having kids anytime soon but it's something to consider for the future...

Time for a quick update! But first, some terminology...
You all know I call my bro, Kuya. Okay well now that he's married, I have an Ate [ah-teh] now. So instead of referring to her as "Marnee" or "sister-in-law," you will now hear "Ate" from me. :)

Starting off, I got a NEW PHONE, the V400! w00t!
It's not a RAZR but I got it FREE :)
"How?" you ask? o_O
Well, my bro's friend who works at Rogers was supposed to hook me up hooked up Ate with a RAZR, bluetooth, and a Mobile Tools program to create your own rings and wallpapers! She in turn gave me her old phone, which is still a NICE phone with camera and mp3 rings! So all Friday evening my bro, sis and I made like TONS of rings. :) This then delayed our watching of Into The Blue, which turned out to be prettttttty good :P.

On Saturday, I helped my bro paint Ate's cousin's new condo in Toronto. The place was small but really nice and I almost died on the ladder! My bro's best man from the wedding, Ed, was trying to put tape on the edges of the window but he got scared because it was too high... so I intervened and braved the friggin height. It was nuts man! The ladder wuz like fully extended and almost vertical because it wuz half on the stairs and on a sketchy fake-wooden box thingy. LOL
Anyways, I got that done but later on, my bro wuz gonna climb up to paint that part and THE FRIGGIN PLATFORM BROKE, GUY! o_O`!

Okay so after that I went to Christine's to chill because I was downtown, so that was nice :).

Then the next day my parents and I picked up Christine for our little trip to the Science Centre to see BODYWORLDS! First we had lunch on the Danforth, cuz my dad loves this ONE place that he claims makes the best food because he's apparently tried every Greek restaurant on the street. lol Anyways, I've been there before but not in awhile and it wuz as promising as I remembered it. MmMm...

So then we went to BWs and FRIG man, those ARE FRIGGIN REAL PEOPLE. HaHa. It's sicc tho cuz they got these bodies in like the craziest positions. Such models include: The Skateboarder (my fav), The Ponderer, The Skier, The Pole Vaulter, The Drawer Man (LOL parts of this guy were opened up like drawers!). They also had a pregnant lady with a fetus inside! (well, obviously). And they had sagittal slices of this one guy and his skin wuz still on and the had these slices comparing an obese 300-pound man and a regular 120-pound man and the FAT is SO FRIGGIN THICK on Mr. 300. Oh! They also had a Swordsman LOL, a ballerina, a yoga lady and 2 figure skaters doing some sicc move. Craziness! Oh and they had a horse and a CAMEL with it's face sliced in 3! One of the kids was like "Look a 3-headed camel!" and the father wuz like "No, son, camel's don't have 3 heads, they just split him up so you can see the different parts of him" LoL.

Sadly, I couldn't take pics inside the expo. Bahhh.
Tonight I'm gonna dim some lights and eat some DIM SUM, friggin! lol. k?

Anyhoo, back to work!!

I just discovered that Taco Bell puts little messages on their Fire Sauce packages. One of which includes the above. In my response to the package I said, "I C Y U N V ME." :)

Besides the sauce antics, my lunch wuz WICKED today, possibly because I hadn't bought lunch here since I start and I haven't had Taco Bell in a LONG time. So it was kind of a milestone event. And it wasn't cuz I didn't bring a lunch today either! Actually, Jia will get mad at me for saying this but I skipped out on my mom's potato omelette and rice for Taco Bell. :P

In other news, I began preparations last night to convert my site onto Dreamweaver. "My site" being my personal one, that I haven't updated since the summer. LOL forgot about it already eh? Anyways, I was supposed to do this WAY earlier, and it's still gonna take some time, but I have some new ideas I'd like to develop and implement to make things easier to organize and update. Hopefully I can get it down by the end of the month. So stay tuned, friggins!

One thing I just realized at work is that Lindsay, one of my big bosses, has an INCREDIBLE view of not just the city of Toronto, but friggin Nathan Philips Square! Now I know that NPS isn't like the awesomest of places to go to (i mean, who really goes there to skate? or on New Year's?) but FRIG man, it's like.. a friggin SICC VIEW. One day (maybe tomorrow) I'm going to bring my camera, sneak in when he's not looking and take some pics and show you friggins what I mean.

Anyways, I think that's all...

which do you think I'll choose tonight?

Well, actually I already chose and it was yellow.
Hello everyone, I'm Josh and I'm friggin drowsy. I forgot to take heed that this friggin Neo-Citran syrup has side-effects that go along with it. BAH. I'm a bit better now actually, now that I've had some food, but FRIG, since 10 I've been feeling like SO WEIRD. I'd stare at my screen and it'd start shaking, it wuz MESSED. So right now is probably a lot better compared to then.

Anyways, this is all part of another recovery process, this time, from Saturday's events.
I went in to Waterloo to drop off my keys and pick up rent money. I didn't have time to visit everyone cuz my dad wuz in a rush so for this I apologize. In the evening, my dad and I went to pick up the priest and brought him to my bro's house for him to bless. Blessing of the House, man. It's like a Filipino sacrament. The priest, btw, is Filipino, so he fit right in and before he blessed the house, he said some really nice things in Tagalog and English about peace within the fam, in the home and love, what love is, and how to contain it, just all of these nice things that make you feel good inside if you really understand it.

Okay so after blessing we had dinner. And dinner as awesome as well, but I was late in reminding my dad to drop me off at the station to go to Christine's birthday outing so I missed the train. So I took the next one, which was an hour later, but I deserved it. I showed up and I felt bad for being late and missing Christine dunk her face in a pile of whipped cream for a shot... but I saw the video, so that wuz better than nothing :)

Anyhoo, back to work! The emails are coming in fast o_O

Okay so yesterday morning's symptoms turned good around lunchtime, right?
Well, it would seem that the evening's walk to Kama Sutra (ding ding, if you guessed correctly) and a trip back home put me in the exact same state I had been in. LoL Although, Kama Sutra (this is the name of the restaurant, before you read the next part) wuz friggin good. Christine ordered Butter Chicken and I got Lamb Curry and we shared a side of calamari pekoras. MmMm...

Anyways, this lunchtime, I'm a bit better, drinking tea and poppin some "C", but I 4got my friggin Advil Cold&Sinus Plus at home! On the topic of Advil, Plus, btw, relieves runny nose and sneezing, whereas the the non-Plus version doesn't... So why then would someone want the non-Plus version??? What's more is that Plus wuz cheaper than the non-Plus! Come on Advil, what kind of game are you trying to play with us?

Okay so today, the office's computers have undergone upgrades and conversions to this new Office Connect server but mine is already migrated to it. So thus, I'm a little lacking on the work today... but when those emails from Lyanna or Lindsay come, I'ma tackle dat shiat. :)

Hmm what else, oh ya! My phone friggin doesn't work because I dropped it and the screen doesn't work. So I'm trying to get a RAZR now. WHAAAT! Talagang PIMP, na man! Hopefully I can get one, then attach it to some neck ice and wear it like bling. hehe

Take care guys.

This morning I woke up and felt like SHIATTT.. ~_~
But now I feel okay!

Lyanna (my boss) and I had a small little chat about the seculary things of life. I told her about my symptoms and she pointed me to PharmaPlus downstairs to get some Vitamin C and Advil. Thankfully so far, they've helped, so props to that! Actually, I bought some really sicc Sunkist vitamins which come in two flavours: mango/passionfruit/peach and blueberry/raspberry. FRIGGIN SICC. I'm like eating these like candy :P.

Today at work there's some issues with the network so I'm taking a lunch break, hehe. I made some animated gifs with Photoshop and ImageReady this morning and I think I have somemore to do this afternoon. I also got my passcard like an hour ago so I'm an official employee of BMO Nesbitt Burns!

Anyways, Christine's 19th birthday is today so I think that's why I'm trying my best to make this full recovery so that I'm prepared for any more of this week's nasty weather. On the topic of birthdays, i just had a thought... we're all going to be exiting our teen years this year! I'm turning 20 in like 3 1/2 months. Leianne's turning 20 in like ONE month. FRIG. Where has our youth gone? And the scary thing is, since I've started working, I actually feel like a mature adult. Whether it's sitting on the train, or walking the PATH, I'm part of the crowd of businessmen and women, all dressed up for another week of work.

CRAZY, cuz I kinda enjoy it o_O.

Have you noticed that the weather, as of late, has been really ugly? Frig man, it's always wet and not sunny at all! It feels like it's always dark and 5pm feels like 10 and 7am feels like 3am. Actually, let's just say that any time of the day feels like anywhere between evening and night. BAH, wretched humbug, give me some sun, you friggin!

So, I suppose this leads me to the point that I have, in turn, underestimated the weather and am experiencing symptoms of a runny nose and a mild soreness of the throat. I also seem to have a mild headache, possibly from work (which btw I enjoy, it's just staring at the a 19" LCD for 7 hours is gonna take some getting used to), ANYWAYS, this is all very boring but this totally contrasts what I'd like to be feeling right now, because inside, I'm really excited for Christine's 19th Birthday tomorrow!

After work, I'ma get-get-get get some grub, get some good grub, Mr. Sub? Nope, hehe. Probably somewhere along Bayview like Kama Sutra, Lemongrass or quite possibly StarEast??? Who knows? Let's see if you can guess? Anyway, it's her 19th and I can't let her spend it alone at home.

Oh and whoever guesses right first wins ... the "prize". hehe

Another year has come and gone, but I'd have to say that 2005 was probably one of my favourites.
So here's my shorter-than-G's-post year in review according to the book of Joshu.

Last year, approx today, I was in Montreal with some good old West D friends, ah yes, t'was friggin cold, those days, but merry ones indeed... In February was Leianne's birthday where I spent many hours on her toilet, face first. On to March, us Waterloo Mathies had our first taste of reading day-and-a-half (becuz UW Mathies don't believe in weeklong breaks)... Forwarding ahead to after 1B, came being hired for my first taste of employment on my birthday. Of course, I can't forget the damage Leianne prepared for me at her house...

So then summer came running in with X&Y and a digital piano, and so life in Waterloo continued. My shelter, however, was a piece of junk, that I still wonder how I managed to survive there. I made some new friends and acquaintances: Andrea (a housemate for 2 months) and her friends, and later got into poker through another housemate, Gow.

Summer also brought together, Coldplay @ the ACC, bonding with my bro, old faces from high school that I hadn't seen in awhile, feelings of renewed friendship, the birth of FTB, and to my biggest surprise, love. August 7th was probably one of my best summer nights, at Adrian's party, because even though I didn't drink, everything else was friggin cool: the huge number of people, the record for male to female ratio, Adrian's stripper, and the drive to the party with Christine. :) From then on, shortly followed by a digicam upgrade, the colours of life infused in each picture became that much more vivid and brighter.

2005 also was a year of weddings: my cuzin, Leidamae, in July, my Kuya, Anthony, in September, and another cuzin Lyn, in December.
Ah, yes, I almost forgot about my bro's stag with all of my boyz. Haha. Props to that!

Bringing us into the Fall term, after reuniting with some West D homies, Dave's 19th, and a John Mater Trio concert later, my brother fell ill with a lung infection after a Thanksgiving dinner and I found myself over at him and Ate's place a lot on the weekends. There I bonded somemore with the both of them as Kuya's health went back up, improved upon poker, and watched movies. Fall weekends also brought me to share some great times with Christine as well, whether they were study dates or actual outings on Bayview.

And finally, come the end of another term, we've had all come back to Oakville to bond once again over these holidays through parties at Manchester and Hamilton.

So what can I say, other than that 2005 was a prooty sicc year!
What, then, will this new chapter of 2006 have in store, then?
Stay tuned.

Today, I had my very first car problem. o_O
Yep, I've been problem free with driving up until today, but nonetheless it was annoying as hell.

Well, first off, I'll say that yesterday's belated family and relative Christmas gathering was wicked. :D
We had some awesome fLiP cuisine, the presents were plentiful, the turn out wuz massive, the karaoke wuz a rockin', and the game I helped organize with my mom was lots of fun!
So I guess, the late sleep and the early morning wake for work led to this little disaster...

I drove down to Clarkson Station to catch my train for work, same procedure as usual, went to work, came back cuz it was a half day, arrived back at the GO station, went to my car, turned on the ignition... turned on the ignition? no. The ignition didn't go. o_O Shortly, I realized that I had left the lights on and called my dad to tell him the news. LoL... maybe I shouldn'tve called him. But anyway, I remembered there wuz a charger in the trunk, so I took full control of the situation and boosted my car.

Alas, It worked! But as I pulled out of the parking spot after putting back the charger, the friggin ting died, guy! Bah. So I charged again, with half my car sticking out of the parking spot and managed to get to the stop sign to turn left before the car died on me AGAIN. I then realized that in order for me to make it home, I had to almost always be moving. o_O So anyways, I got outta the station finally, and started driving down the street towards home. Up ahead however, there wuz a friggin RANDOM and huge truck awaiting to turn left for some reason. Trying maintain a reduced to a slow and steady speed before having to actually stop, I then felt the car dying... After charging again, I booted it the rest of the way... that is, until I hit the traffic light intersection. FRIG man, I was stuck here for like so long cuz the charger was already low on battery to begin with, so by everytime I put everything back and tried to drive off, it would friggin die like a mofo. Anyways, after getting past the lights finally and 3 charges later, I made it home! Bah! tangina shet, I tell you, tangina shettttt.

So anyways, 2nite I don't have the option to drive now lol but we'll see how rides work out til kingdom comes. :)

Good morning everyone it is 8:35AM on this lovely Thursday, December 29th of 2005! Just two days til New Year's Eve!
I'm Joshua Rosal, reporting from First Canadian Place, giving YOU the top stories of today, not twice, thrice, but only once a day.

Yesterday's weather brought together an overcast of good times over at The Manchester Arms last night. If you were wondering what the thunderstorm among the social activity was all about, then that would most probably be caused by Mr. Stephen Richards and his uncontrollable volume of speech. bbq.

Today there will forecasts of work all throughout the morning and afternoon til 5pm, with some sunny breaks of eating and possibility of MSN. This evening we will see relatives from Toronto drift over to the Rosals Residence for a belated Christmas Dinner. We're expecting much activity, particularly "Soul Caliburing" of the 3rd degree, to take place throughout the night.

That is all for today. Once again, this is Joshua Rosal, wishing you a Great Morning and to WAKE THE FRIG UP so you can MSN me. :)

I.F.O.T.D.: "FRIGGIN" is 374-4446. I want it. o_O

Hey fellaz, just a quick entry cuz I'm on my first day at work, downtown, here @ BMO Nesbitt Burns on the 54th! :)

Yesterday, I went to see Movin' Out, a Billy Joel musical, with Christine. She bought me tix for Christmas ;) It was my first musical! O_O whhaaat!! It wuz super cool, man... like tangina cool. It wuz all music and dancing, no dialogue, but they were like flippin out like every second of it. This one guy, Eddie, wuz doin some wicked break dancing and Ryouko-esque flips. Tangina shet man!!!

Anyways, the day before (the 26th), I went boxing... cuz it wuz Boxing Day.
Then I went to Square One with Kuya, Ate and Ate Mia and they helped me shop for work clothes, which I totally dig and am currently wearing right now. (Pics will come later!)

Hmm what else... okay so my plans this evening are to try and make Manchester's again, becuz i wanna see everyone again. Tomorrow evening is my family Christmas thing (cuz those friggins escaped to Florida for Christmas), the 30th is Heat's club nite, then 31st is New Year's friggin Eve alreadY!? o_O

Damn, someone needs to slow down these holidizzles a bit...

Interesting fact for the day: I saw a mannequin with a camel toe o_O LOL

...that Josh might be back on LJ, today :)

Merry Christmas everyone and I apologize for my departure for the last few months. It's been yet another hectic schedule of classes and distractions. And I believe future posts will look back on those milestones and ordeals.

It looks like LJ has done well for itself too, while I've been gone.

Anyways, I'm glad to be back and as a present, I will try and post regularly :P hehe

Kay, so those who don't already know, care, or don't care, here's some possible FAQs you might have for me...

Where've you been, friggin?! - 2nd year CS at UW, part-time at the OR (where i did co-op), 347 Spruce St. with 3 rezmates from last year

When did you break start??? - Wednesday morning after my CS exam

So what's shakin'? - yo guy, nm, just playing some partypoker with free money :)

How was Christmas, friggin?! - Pretty good!
Well, what'd you do, guy?!! - kay well...
Wednesday, wuz Mancester's, which wuz totally sicc becuz EVERYONE was there!!
Thursday, I did some Christmas shopping with my good homies, Dave et Leianne, a la O.P, then went to my bro's place to like, friggin hangout, guy... lol
Friday, I got a nasty email saying that my gift for Christine, that I ordered like friggin a whole month ago wuz lost in transit and that they're refunding me o_O, so then I had to go out and shop somemore and friggin find something! (the gifts will be discussed further down..) So I went to Square One with my kuya and ate and we found something :) That night I went back to Oakville to pick up Christine and went to Mike's lil party @ the Haddad Haus.
Yesterday (Christmas Eve), I picked up Christine again and finished up my Christmas shopping LOL. Then distributed Christmas cards but like NO ONE was home. haha. I also got invited to Lei's lil family dinner somehow lol and my gift was providing her with Soul Cal 3. haha. She randomly gave me a Gryffindor scarf which is totally cool, and I got $10 from her Lola!! LOL This was after church and a small dinner at my house.
And today (Christmas Day), I went to church again and then to Christine's place for dinner, where we ate, exchanged gifts, played jenga, and mused at Christine's baby pics. hehe

Cooooool, so what else is in store? - tomorrow's Boxing Day so i gotta get up on the Red Flag Deals for clothes for work!

Work? What do you mean? - Yo! I'm working Web Design for co-op, downtown Toronto at the BMO building on the friggin 54th floor! So that means I'm here from January to the end of April!

WHHHHHAAAT! - yea guy, that means I'll be able to go riding this winter!!

Riding?? Whaa?? - snowboarding, guy! I haven't gone in like 2 years! I'm gonna buy a board after my first paycheque!

Serious, eh? Sweet man :)

THE END.

is it "addictive" or "addicting"?

cuz frig, I think it's "addictive" and everyone sez "addicting"

To me:
"It's so addicting!" sounds silly.
"It's so addictive!" sounds right.

I dunno, maybe it's cuz of the "-ing" and the way it sounds like a verb. "I'm addicting you!" (i'm making you addicted?)

I now open my case for discussion.
